Got my valve covers stripped and ready to get Nickel Plated:

Kinja'd!!!

And I got my lower intake stripped and ready to be Black Anodized:

Kinja'd!!!

Hoping the Anodizer can strip the Plenum for me, otherwise I’ll have to get it back in the blaster:

Kinja'd!!!

Sorry for the shaky shots, couldn’t get a good position.

Not doing the transmission at the same time?

Is this an engine rebuild or a swap with another used engine?

My trans is still solid, so no.

It’s a little of both. The motor had 50k according MasterMario’s dad, so it’s mostly just a teardown/inspect/install all new seals and gaskets, and some mild top end porting.

I do plan on tearing into my 3.8 once everything settles down to see what exactly went wrong as well.

Yes.

Simple cleaning up factory casting flash and some smoothing.
